The biggest overhaul with Mac-based systems is that there are a lot of different aspects to the operating system that makes it unique. The features that are embedded into the software makes sure that the user is at his utmost confidence and comfort when he operates such systems. A Unix-like (sometimes referred to as UN.X or.nix) operating system is one that behaves in a manner similar to a Unix system, while not necessarily conforming to or being certified to any version of the Single UNIX Specification. Erased the Internal SSD drive with Disk Utility and Installed Mac OS X 10.8 fresh. Booted newly installed Mac OS X 10.8 and opened App Store (App Store still works fine just a little slow rendering images). The Mac OS 10.8 App Store would ONLY download the 19MB High Sierra Installer AGAIN!!! So I proceeded with that.
